Present: Morten Simonsen Miika Määttä Mika Niemi Filip Åkerlund Jacob Dall Emil Rossing Are Torgersen Toft Thorbjorn Overall Agenda (which I very much suspect is way too long) ================================================ - MessageType policy (see sub-chapter below) (20 min) Morten presented message type policy Message type recommendation is approved (see document in NEX Teams) - V-Code policy (see sub-chapter below) (10 min) V-code recommendation presented. Energinet is not following this principle at the moment. Energinet will discuss internally if they are able to start following the policy. NEX is positive to this policy. This will be discussed in next NEX meeting - Endpoint policy (how many endpoints pr company, even if companies are distributed across several countries. Ex: Fortum, Nordpool, Nasdaq) (10 min) A company should have one endpoint. Different legal entities witin a company can have separate endpoints. The legal entities are legally responsible of what they are sending. - NRSC have two issues: (Torbjørn will join around 11 and tell us about it) (30 min) - Two or three network (more explanation will come later) and short-term migration plan (switch stack and upgrade ECP) Toft Thorbjorn presented NRSC stack migration architecture. Parallel RSC side ECP network will be implemented and TSOs have a period of time to move from the old network to the new one. Detailed plan and schedule will be defined by week 46 (week of the 9th of Nov). - Switch to use OPDE-network or stay on NRSC-network (Not discussed) - Status TSO (15 min) Energinet: Almost ready to move to 4.7.1 version of the ECP network in preprod. Minor service start issues found and reported to Unicorn. Fingrid: Preparing for 4.7.1 version. Roadmap preparation for 2021 in ECP network improvements in progress. SVK: Preparing to synchronize with Energinet and Fingrid. Connections are open with Energinet, but problems with Fingrid connection (problem with Fingrid or SVK firewall). New business applications are coming in to the network. Planning on how to monitor ECP , probably starting in Q1 2021. Statnett: Things regarding ECP is working smoothly. NBM usage is increasing traffic alot. Disk space increase required and UI performance has affected. Looks like NBM traffic can be handled. - Status CSSg (Morten) (5 min) - EDX Longterm strategy: Stabilize or Expand(AS4-support) Morten explained about how EDX can be subject to big changes (AS4-support). NEX is overall more interested in a stable EDX, than more features at the moment. Jacob mentioned previous backward-compatible problems. - Status NMEG/NIT (Mika) (5 min) NEX was presented in NMEG meeting. Miika to decide with NMEG where to deliver material related to NEX / ECP usage (e.g. message types and suggested versions etc) - Status NBM (5 min) ACE open loop / imbalance prognosis etc traffic should be coming from each TSO in specified time interval - then data will be validated. That is a requirement of the next milestone. Since there are a lot of messages coming frequently, TTL (time to live) should be tried. Recommendations for handling high volumes of messages: EDX DMS -> file location will grow (copy of the files -> 30 GB should be enough for a long time). Retention period at the moment defines at the moment how long the messages will be in a queue. This is the reason why e.g. Energinet has to have long retention period. In the future there will be improvemnet) ECP -> DB increses due to logs -> 5 / 10 GB database should be enough for a long time) -> retention period can be shortened (14 days by default) --End of meeting---
